About us
If we continue to act without regard for our planet, if we continue to push species to extinction, our home will be a poorer place for it and our children unable to recover what we have destroyed.

This is not a conservation organisation, this is a conservation effort.

It's about what you can do to make a difference in conserving life on our planet.

Companies have a choice to act in a way that supports conserving our planet and it's biodiversity but they are supplying a demand created by consumers. We are the consumers, we can choose to support companies that act responsibly and choose not to support companies that negatively affect our environment, our planet and the creatures that share it with us.

We are not helpless creatures, we are powerful and beautiful beings. We can be the solution.

It's about making available the information so you can decide to make choices that promote conservation rather than choices that create a demand for products that have a negative effect on our planet.

It's about spreading the word - most people don't know what they can do to help and while the issues are serious, they feel overwhelmed and helpless.

There are a lot of small changes we can make as individual consumers (choosing one brand over another) that when carried out by a growing group of consumers changes what we do to our planet and it's inhabitants.

This is it's beginning, this site will be constantly updated and expanded.

We have started with shark conservation and list companies and their products that contain shark (the red list) and alternative products that don't contain shark (the green list). We contact the companies on the red list, provide them with the relevant information and ask them to use more sustainable ingredients in their products and we post their response on this site, when they choose to stop using shark in their products we then add them to the green list.

Although we have started with sharks we certainly don't end there. We will be looking at what we can do to support other worthwhile causes: global warming, recycling, ocean conservation etc..,

If you have any ideas on what we can do as consumers to make more sustainable choices, issues you would like us to cover or information or research that could be added to this site, please mail it to us.

We are not asking for money, we are asking for change.
